I believe in a previous post I had mentioned that this pregnancy was too easy and I knew something was going to happen, while here you go. I had my 37/38 week appt yesterday and what do you know everything is exactly the same as it was last week. Shocking! So we are going to opt for the external version and will go in on Monday to do that. The only other option was to hope he turns on his own and if he doesn't schedule a c section. I just don't think that is another option. Just in case some of you don't know what an external version is they try to manually turn the baby from the outside. Of course there is all sorts of monitoring going on and there will be drugs- I think-so we will be at the hospital the better part of Monday. So keep all of us in your prayers for turning babies and that everything goes smoothly.
I did try some technique's at home that did not work at all, I think it just made him lodge more into the position he is in now. I will say the one I didn't try was doing headstands in a pool, that was actually listed on a website Gina found. Maybe that is the magic ticket! However, pregnant women can't breath well to begin with and holding my breath just would not be happening.
I will try to do a post on Monday or Tuesday to let you know if we had success. I have had people tell me this child must be stubborn like one of his parents- they must be talking about Mike.
