We enjoyed a nice quiet weekend. We did little and laid around a lot. It was a much needed quiet before the crazy sets in on Thursday. Gina is getting married on Saturday and from Thursday until she walks down the aisle will be crazy times in the big city of O'Neill. Thankfully for her it didn't float away in the flood.
Here are some pictures of T and I before our bike ride. I am having a hard time finding a helmet to fit his head. This is my helmet he has on. It was a little too big because the 3+ helmet he was wearing seems too small. We did try on Brodie's and that seemed to fit good. (Okay, my brother put it on him to make the point that my kid has a huge head)
Poor Frankie always get's left behind when we go for bike rides.

On the running front I feel like I have finally turned the corner. After 6 weeks of Physical Therapy and feeling pain when I start upping my mileage and then cutting back on my running I can tell I am getting back to normal. In hindsight is was kind of nice to have an injury beacause they analyzed eveything on how I run; my stride, my swing, my follow thru; my flexibility- or lack there of -and how I can improve. I still have lots of exercises I have to do at home to stay injury free but I am feeling much better. I am now deciding if I want to try to run the Bill Seymore Half Marathon over Labor Day Weekend. I love this race, it was my very first race when I started running and my first one back last year after I had Thatcher - I have done the 5k run for the last 5 years. I have never felt the need to do the half here but the 10 week training plan looks managable. We will see, I don't want to bite off more than I can chew (or run). I am anxious to get back into training for something.
