Update

Sorry, I know it has been awhile since I have done a post but we really didn't have any news to talk about. This morning I had my 36/37 week appointment and I must say I was pretty bummed out after leaving there. I have made no progress, none! I really felt like I had been making progress the last two weeks. The doctor thought the baby was breech so we did a quick ultrasound and sure enough he is! At my last appointment they thought he was head down so either he flipped or they were wrong. I think I just went into this appointment with high expectations and came out of it feeling very let down.
So the plan of attack is to do another ultrasound next week and if he is still breech they may do an external version move to try to flip him- which is only 60% effective and you can't guarantee he will stay that way. The doctor didn't sound like she was a big fan of it but I really don't want a c-section so I will probably try it, we will see what happens next week. I will keep you all updated.
They also did a quick weight on him and she thinks he is about 5 lbs 14 oz but that can be off a pound or two either way. She doesn't think I will have a big baby but we will see about that. If he gains 1/2 a pound a week we could be seeing an 8 pound baby which is kind of what I am expecting.
