Summerfest

We went home this past weekend for cousin Asher's first birthday party.  It just so happened to be O'Neill's Summerfest as well.  On Friday night Mike and I got a night out at the rodeo to see our friend partcipate in Steer Wrestling.  It was so nice to see everyone there and we had a great time just hanging out with them.  Saturday I took T to the pool and that was a little weird going back to my old stomping grounds as a customer.  It was hard not to yell at the kids running or splashing in the pool.  Sigh, the good old days when I could take my crappy day out on other people's kids. 
Saturday night we went to Asher's party and the kids are not ready to play with each other quite yet.  I was disappointed that we couldn't get them to play together but it was not going to happen that night.  Maybe in the future they can get along better. 
This was as close as we were going to get T and Asher together that night.

They have so many toys at their house I tried to take mental note of everything T liked.  It was mostly anything that maked music.  T liked the music and Asher liked the balls in the same toy.  It is funny how different kids draw thier attention to different things in the same toy. Thatcher is really taking a liking to anything car related.  I hope he doesn't become "obsessed" like his cousin Brodie.  ( I kid, I think the small obsession is cute)
