The Toy Story

Oh, Christmas is over and I am longing for a sense of normalcy now.  I want my house back to normal, I want my schedule back to normal and I want my weight back to normal!!!  Hopefully over this week and coming weekend I can get all back to normal.
Last Thursday T went to a different daycare for the one day since ours was closed.  When I went to pick him up he had this vacuum that he apparently had been dragging around all day.  He had to drag it to the dinner table, drag it with him when he took a nap and have it never leave his side.  T is not a big toy person and I have a hard time finding stuff he really likes so after I picked him up we went on a mission to find that exact same vacuum.  I didn't mind buying it for him as the last toy we bought him was the Lightening McQueen car which he only got as it was suppose to be a gift for his cousin Asher but he wouldn't quit playing with it so we just gave it to him.

Christmas was good to all of us.  Even Santa treated me pretty good!  I expected this though as I have been a good girl all year.  T had a ball opening his gifts and playing with each item before he went to the next gift.  He got a lot of toys that he really seems to enjoy.  His favorite presents this year were the drum set from Aunt Gina and Uncle Adam, Hanny Manny's tool set from Santa, and Goldfish from Grandma and Grandpa Whiting.

This train set was a big hit but we have yet to put it together.  Hopefully T and Mike can put that together this weekend.  T seemed really memorized by the train itself.

Thatcher had project day yesterday at daycare so I have to share my babies first "project".  I have a feeling he had some help with it but it still melts my heart.  Frosty didn't make it very long in our house, T ate him right up.  I am excited for him to have some ornaments that he made on the tree so he can start to remember his family Christmas traditions.  I hope next year he knows who Santa is so we can use the "Santa is watching, you better shape up or no gifts for you."  This year that saying didn't get me very far.
