Greeting's from Crabby Land

Thatcher and I were in a mood this weekend.  Our house was not the best place to be at this weekend.  I was still in depression over the marthon which took place this past weekend.  Not only did I have to watch the Kentucky Derby at my house and not in Lincoln- it is a pre race tradtion, but the weather was perfect that day to run.  Boo Hoo!  The jockey that won the Kentucky Derby amazes me. He reminds me of Forrest Gump but as a jockey.  If you watched him over the years you know what I am talking about.  Thatcher in the meantime ended up with his first ear infection- go figure we go to the ENT for the first time and he gets one.  He also ended up being allergic to his antibotic, which we didn't figure out until Monday so he spent all weekend throwing one fit after another.  The full blown fits of throwing himself on the ground, kicking and screaming.  Yeah temper tantrums!
Mike and I got him a new playset for the yard for his birthday so we tried to spend as much time as we could out there and in his sand box.  He managed to break a smile only a handful of times.

He is not too sure about the slide but he likes to stand on top of it.

Thatcher does say mama now but on rare occurance.  Everything is still dada dada.  He is slowly becoming more independent with his walking.  He will take a few steps here and there on his own but nothing too far.  He has also found a new love for Elmo!  He loves Elmo and his new Elmo camera.  He laughs and dances everytime Elmo sings.  I have that tune memorized in my head.  Oh Elmo.
