Did you know my husband is a local TV reporter? I kid. He did, however, make an appearance on NTV on Monday and I will say he did better than most of our local TV Reporters. The Fort Kearney Shooting Association had an open house and the local station came out to do a spot on it but did not bring a reporter with them so Mike was the "on site reporter".
Thatcher and I came out to show our support and check out all the work that Mike has been doing out there. I also think some of his colleagues out there think that his wife doesn't exist because I don't go out there much. I figured this would be a good time to make an appearance so they could say "oh you do have a wife we thought she didn't exist." The reason I don't go out there is because there is way too much dirt and things for Thatcher to get into out there. This is what I had to deal with all evening.
Did you see him? He moves like the speed of light. The joy on his face is so priceless. He did this for two hours. Back and forth, Back and forth. He did stop to enjoy the free food and I enjoyed a free beer or two to keep my sanity.
Thatcher did have a great time and got his closet clothes dirty. Since Thatcher can't sit still in church we have closet clothes instead of church clothes. Closet clothes are hung in the closet so they stay "clean and in good condition" for nice events.
Oh Dirt, I think he needs to get dirty but when you are trying to keep him clean at a nice, public, Chamber of Commerce event it is exhausting.
In all they had a great turn out and Mike should be very proud of himself. He has really put a lot of work into this gun club and I think it will continue to grow and become a great place in the community. Thatcher had a great time and entertained everyone and even got some kisses from the ladies.
