Bath Time

A while ago Mike started giving T a shower instead of a bath.  He felt it saved on time and water, I felt it made him more of a boy and not a toddler so I was a little hesitatnt to give up the baths.  Thatcher has started to express more interst in taking a bath again and will argue with us nightly about bath vs. shower.  Actually he just keeps saying bath if we say shower so it an endless. "Bath?"  No Shower "Bath?" Like he doesn't hear what you just said.  He doesn't argue he tells you what you should be saying.
Thatcher has started to become less apprehensive about putting his face in the water and laying his head back while taking a bath.  He will now blow bubbles, put his face in and "attempt" to lay his head back; he never go past the start of his ears though.  The other night I told him to lay his head back and get his ears wet. Guess what he does? He just turns his head just enough to get one ear wet and then he turns and does the other one.  Silly kid!  I am working on him when we go to the pool but for some reason he will not relax and will not lay on his back in a floating motion.  I am hoping he will be come more and more relaxed by taking baths and getting use to water being around him.
