Gobble, Gobble

I have been a little lazy this week after the week I had last week.  I felt like I was in overdrive all last week.  Mike became the Great American Deer Hunter for a week so I played single parent for five days- which alone would be exhausting- but I also had to deep clean my house for Bunco, host a baby shower and run 30 miles! Are you all tired from just reading that?  Trying to clean a house with a toddler is insane.  Thatcher wants to help with everything and frankly my house from Thatcher's level down was disgusting! There was snot, food, and lord knows what else all over my house.  Thatcher favorite chores to help with are making the bed, and emptying the dishwasher.  He is such a big help!

Today this Thanksgiving and we are just hanging out today.  Mike was home last week and I am leaving for Vegas next week so we decided to just relax and enjoy some family time.  I did the 5 mile Turkey Trot this morning and it was so cold!  I think the weatherman said the windchill was -2.  

I thought the run went pretty good.  Two ladies I knew passed me in the beginning but I was like a tiger lying in wait to make my move :)  I look them out one by one.  Plus the weather didn't feel that cold once we got going.  The clock at the end didn't match what my watch had but oh well.  As my post race treat to myself I got to run home!  I am glad to be back in my warm house and ready to lounge around the rest of the day.
