My morning life is over! OVER! Thatcher has figured out how to climb out of his crib- no more getting him up when I think is a convenient time. It all started on Saturday after I laid him down for his nap. I thought I kept hearing a noise but couldn't figure out what it was, while Thatcher's door starts to open and I instantly knew what that noise that I had been hearing was! He figure out how to escape and is fairly quiet at doing it. Sunday morning he managed to get up before Mike and I, wonder around our house, find my cellphone and bring it to me all before we knew he was even awake.
Sunday night we decided it was probably time to put up the half rail instead of having him hurt himself climbing out. Thatcher had a great time helping daddy work on the crib, little did he know that he was working against himself- or so we thought. See we discovered we didn't have the mattress all the way down like we thought so we figured lowering the mattress had to be the answer. For one short night I thought we had fixed all of our worries and life was back to normal. While Thatcher is smarter and stronger than we thought he was cause he managed to crawl out of his crib on Monday morning.
Thatcher loves to work with tools and trying to figure out what Mike is doing how, how things work and how he can fix it.
( You have to love Frankie lurking in the background. There are a couple pictures where is like a shadow in the background. He knows to keep his distance when Thatcher has something in his hands.)
Finally, just a funny picture for you. Thatcher loves to do everything that Mike is doing but apparently he thinks me running is a good idea and wants to be just like me! We have had dry weather lately so I have had the chance to run outside a lot and Sunday Thatcher decided he wanted to go with me. Sorry Mister, still too cold for you.
